Income and Social Security
Ohio's state supplement is called the Residential State Supplement, or RSS.
It is a monthly cash payment for adults on Medicaid who need some daily help and live in certain licensed group homes, residential care facilities or assisted living, so they don't have to move to a nursing home. It doesn't go to people living in their own homes, and enrollment depends on available state funds.
