New Mexico ADRC State Health Insurance Assistance Program (SHIP)
Free, unbiased Medicare counseling in New Mexico. Trained counselors go through your costs and choices with you, and they don't sell plans.
Income and Social Security
New Mexico adds $100 a month to SSI only for people who live in a licensed adult residential shelter care home because they need help with things like bathing, dressing, eating or taking medicine.
It doesn't go to people living in their own homes. The state Health Care Authority runs it, and payments depend on state funding.
Applying is free. Nobody should charge you to apply.
