Income and Social Security
Missouri's state supplement, called Supplemental Nursing Care, gives monthly cash to older adults who live in residential care, assisted living or a nursing facility bed that Medicaid doesn't pay for.
It doesn't go to people living in their own homes. The state pays up to $156 a month in residential care or $292 in assisted living, plus $50 a month for personal needs.
Applying is free. Nobody should charge you to apply.
