Income and Social Security
Nebraska's state supplement is called Aid to the Aged, Blind, or Disabled, or AABD.
It can add money each month for people with low income who live in their own home or apartment, in assisted living, in a boarding home or in a nursing home. The amount depends on where you live and on your income, including SSI.
Applying is free. Nobody should charge you to apply.
