Income and Social Security
Indiana does not add a state payment to SSI for people living on their own.
It pays up to $22 a month, called Supplemental Assistance for Personal Needs (SAPN), to people on SSI and Medicaid who live in a nursing facility and whose SSI drops to $30. The state sets it up automatically through your Medicaid case.
